Crafted entirely from solid 950 platinum, this exceptional chronograph delivers a commanding presence on the wrist while maintaining the timeless design that has made the Daytona one of the world’s most desirable watches. The watch is distinguished by its ice-blue dial – a colour reserved exclusively for Rolex platinum models – paired with contrasting black chronograph counters that enhance both legibility and visual impact. Framed by a chestnut brown Cerachrom bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale, the dial offers a sophisticated blend of sporty functionality and refined elegance. At the heart of the watch lies the Rolex calibre 4131 automatic chronograph movement, engineered for exceptional precision, reliability, and performance. Featuring Rolex’s latest technological advancements, the movement offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification, ensuring outstanding accuracy in everyday wear. All this is visible behind its clear sapphire crystal case back; a rare feature for Rolex. The 40mm Oyster case provides water resistance to 100 metres and is fitted with the iconic Oyster bracelet, complete with the Oysterlock safety clasp and Easylink comfort extension system for a secure and comfortable fit. Every detail reflects Rolex’s dedication to durability, craftsmanship, and technical excellence. Sold as a full set with a Rolex box, original warranty card, instruction manual and both hangtags; as well as its original purchase receipt. This watch was first sold in the UK in May 2024.
