This Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch “Apollo XVII” 311.30.42.30.03.001 was designed to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the final moon landing in 1972. It has a steel 42mm case, crown, pushers and bezel with a polished blue ceramic insert finished with gold numerals on its tachymeter scale. Fitted on a steel Speedmaster bracelet with fold-over clasp. It has a blue ceramic dial, and chronograph sub-dials with “05:34 GMT” printed in red on the dial. It has both yellow gold and matt white hands, gold batons, and the “God Apollo” etched in the nine o’clock sub-dial. Sold as a full set with a large limited-edition Omega box, additional travel case, original Omega warranty card, pictogram card, limited edition certificate, instruction manual and hang tag. First sold in the UK in December 2017. It is limited edition number 261 of 1972.
