The Omega Speedmaster Grey Side of the Moon “Meteorite” 311.63.44.51.99.001 is a distinctive interpretation of the iconic Speedmaster, combining advanced materials with a truly unique dial crafted from ancient extraterrestrial stone. Inspired by the exploration of space, this exceptional chronograph brings together cutting-edge technology and the enduring legacy of one of Omega’s most celebrated collections. The watch is housed in a 44.25mm grey ceramic case, offering impressive durability while maintaining a lightweight feel on the wrist. Complementing the case is an 18ct Sedna™ gold bezel fitted with a silicon nitride ring and Omega’s Ceragold™ tachymeter scale, creating a striking contrast between warm precious metal and contemporary ceramic. Its standout feature is the meteorite dial, cut from a solid piece of ancient extraterrestrial material and acid-etched to reveal its natural crystalline structure. As every piece of meteorite is unique, no two dials are exactly alike, giving each watch its own distinct character. Sedna™ gold hands and applied indexes further enhance the sophisticated appearance while ensuring excellent readability. The chronograph layout remains faithful to the Speedmaster tradition, with a combined 12-hour and 60-minute recorder at 3 o’clock, a small seconds display at 9 o’clock, and a date display integrated into the design. Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback is Omega’s Co Axial Calibre 9300 automatic movement, renowned for its precision, reliability and approximately 60-hour power reserve. Finished on a brand new grey leather strap with a foldover clasp, the watch balances sporting functionality with refined luxury. The combination of a meteorite dial, ceramic construction, Sedna™ gold accents and in-house chronograph movement makes this one of the most distinctive models within the modern Speedmaster range. Sold as a full set with an Omega box (missing cushion), original warranty card, pictogram card, instruction manual and hangtag, as well as its original purchase receipt. This watch was first sold in the UK in March 2017. There are a few small dings on the watches bezel retention ring.
