This Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Skyfall 232.30.42.21.01.004 is a 42 mm bold and technically refined dive watch that pays homage to Omega’s maritime legacy while embracing modern innovation. This particular reference, famously associated with the James Bond film Skyfall, blends cinematic flair with professional-grade performance. Crafted from robust 316L stainless steel, the 42 mm case is both elegant and durable, featuring a mix of polished and brushed surfaces that catch the light with subtle sophistication. The black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel is engraved with a diving scale and mounted securely to the case, ensuring accurate timing during underwater excursions. A helium escape valve at 10 o’clock and screw-down crown reinforce the watch’s serious diving credentials, with water resistance rated to an impressive 600 metres (2000 feet / 60 bar). The dial is a matte black masterpiece, structured for depth and clarity. It features bold white Super-LumiNova-coated hour markers and broad arrow hands for optimal legibility in low-light conditions. A date window is positioned at 3 o’clock, while the red “Seamaster” text and subtle 007 logo at 7 o’clock add a discreet nod to its cinematic roots. The dial is protected by a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Powering the watch is the Omega Co-Axial calibre 8507, a self-winding movement with a 60-hour power reserve and chronometer certification. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back, where “SKYFALL 007” is engraved on the rotor in black varnish—a collector’s detail that elevates this model beyond the ordinary. The watch is paired with a matching stainless steel bracelet, secured with a folding clasp for comfort and reliability. Its versatile design makes it suitable for both deep-sea diving and formal occasions, offering a seamless transition from wetsuit to tuxedo. Sold with it’s a special edition Omega box, original warranty card, COSC card, pictogram card, limited edition card, limited edition certificate and instruction manual.
