Built for the demands of naval aviators, this timepiece combines cutting-edge materials with IWC’s signature aviation heritage, delivering a watch that is as robust as it is refined. Encased in a 41 mm black ceramic case, the watch exudes stealth and strength. The ceramic—lightweight, scratch-resistant, and virtually indestructible—offers a matte finish that absorbs light and reduces glare, ideal for high-intensity environments. The case is paired with a titanium case back and a screw-in crown, ensuring durability and water resistance up to 60 metres. The dial is a study in clarity and contrast. A deep matte black backdrop sets the stage for bold white Arabic numerals and luminescent hands, designed for optimal legibility in all lighting conditions. The red-tipped seconds hand adds a subtle flash of colour, while the date window at 3 o’clock integrates seamlessly into the dial’s clean layout. The minimalist design is inspired by cockpit instruments—precise, purposeful, and distraction-free. Powering the watch is the IWC-manufactured calibre 32110, part of the brand’s new 32000-series movement family. This automatic movement offers a robust 72-hour power reserve and features a silicon escapement for enhanced resistance to magnetic fields and wear. It’s a movement built for endurance, just like the pilots it was designed to serve. The watch is fitted with a black leather strap with a textile finish. The strap is secured with a pin buckle and offers a comfortable, secure fit whether worn in the cockpit or on the ground. With its military-grade materials, precision engineering, and iconic design language, the Pilot’s Watch Automatic TOP GUN is more than a timepiece—it’s a mission-ready instrument. Sold with an inner IWC box, original warranty card and instruction manual. This watch was first sold in July 2019.
