A contemporary take on one of Cartier’s most iconic designs, the Santos de Cartier WSSA0047 Large Model blends heritage styling with modern versatility. Originally created in 1904 for aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, the Santos remains one of the earliest wristwatch designs, now reimagined with updated materials and technical innovation. Crafted in stainless steel, this model is enhanced by a striking PVD bezel, adding a bold, modern edge while maintaining the collection’s signature exposed screws and balanced proportions. The grey striated dial delivers subtle depth and texture, complemented by classic Roman numerals and sword-shaped hands for unmistakable Cartier identity. Powered by the Cartier calibre 1847 MC automatic movement, the watch offers reliable performance in a sleek 39.8mm “Large” case, finished with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and water resistance to 100 metres. Designed for everyday versatility, it features both a stainless steel bracelet with SmartLink adjustment and Cartier’s QuickSwitch system. Sold with a Cartier box. This watch was first sold in April 2025. There are a few marks on this watches bezel.
