A true icon of contemporary watchmaking, the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo 102713 redefined what was possible in ultra-thin mechanical watch design. Combining bold Italian creativity with exceptional Swiss engineering, this remarkable timepiece has become one of the most influential luxury sports watches of the modern era. Crafted entirely from sandblasted titanium, the 40mm case and integrated bracelet deliver an unmistakably modern aesthetic while remaining exceptionally lightweight and comfortable on the wrist. The distinctive octagonal architecture, inspired by the ancient Roman Basilica of Maxentius, creates a striking silhouette unlike anything else in contemporary watchmaking. The minimalist grey titanium dial perfectly complements the watch’s architectural design, featuring a small seconds display and clean, understated detailing. Every element has been carefully considered to maintain a harmonious and elegant appearance while showcasing the technical sophistication that lies beneath. At the heart of the watch is the exceptional Bvlgari calibre BVL 138, an ultra-thin manufacture movement measuring just 2.23mm thick. Equipped with a platinum micro-rotor and finished with traditional haute horlogerie techniques including Côtes de Genève, chamfering and perlage decoration, the movement delivers a 60-hour power reserve and can be admired through the sapphire exhibition caseback. With an overall case thickness of only 5.15mm, the Octo Finissimo is a masterpiece of engineering that wears with extraordinary elegance while retaining a contemporary sporting character. The integrated titanium bracelet flows seamlessly into the case, creating one of the most recognisable and refined designs in modern horology. Sold with an inner Bvlgari box and original warranty card. This watch was first sold in Italy in Novemer 2018. This watch remains in unpolished condition.
