DETAILS: The tanzanite gemstone is of a medium dark violet-blue hue, and measures 7.87mm x 5.79mm x 3.93mm. It is four-claw corner set and has a calculated weight of 1.62ct and is surrounded by a cluster of 14 round brilliant cut diamonds, ranging from 2.40 to 2.50mm (diameter). The diamonds are set to a rectangular cluster head with a millegrain decorated scalloped edge, to raised tapering shoulders and a rounded rectangular cross sectioned shank. Their calculated total carat weight is 0.70ct and their quality has been assessed as I-K colour, SI1-I2 clarity. A qualified gemmologist has noted the diamonds to be NATURAL. The band measures approx. 2.2mm and is hallmarked 18ct gold Sheffield, sponsors JC. The ring weighs 4.46 grams and comes in size P with resizing options available on request.
