This beautiful platinum and diamond piece features a stunning central round gemstone surrounded by two rows of smaller ones, all set into a delicate teardrop shape. DETAILS: This pear-shaped white diamond cluster ring features a centrally set round brilliant cut diamond in an 8-claw setting, surrounded by two stepped tiers of diamonds. The first tier has 9 round brilliant cut diamonds, the second has 28. The shoulders are set with a further 36 brilliant cut round diamonds. The cluster head measures approx. 12.52mm x 9.40mm and the shoulders are 3.14mm wide tapering to 2.26mm at the shank. The principal diamond measures approx. 3.2mm in diameter and has an estimated carat weight of 0.12ct. It has been assessed as colour G/H, and clarity I2. The remaining 73 diamonds measure 0.8mm to 2.4mm and have a total estimated weight of 0.63ct, assessed colour G/H and clarity I1/I2. The diamonds have been assessed by qualified gemmologists and identified as natural. The ring has been hallmarked with the 950 platinum convention mark, and has the sponsor mark S.G (Signet Group). It is also stamped “950” and “0.75” and inscribed with the numbers 167844. This is a discontinued design by the Ernest Jones Collection. The ring weighs 6.3 grams and comes in size J ½.
