Here we have the Grand Seiko SBGA413 "Shunbun" Spring Drive, a timepiece that beautifully captures the essence of Japan’s seasonal transitions. Part of the revered Grand Seiko “Four Seasons” collection, this model is inspired by Shunbun, the spring equinox, when the cherry blossoms (sakura) begin to fall, blanketing the landscape in soft pink hues. The 40 mm high-intensity titanium case offers both strength and lightweight comfort, with Grand Seiko’s signature Zaratsu polishing, creating distortion-free mirror finishes that transition seamlessly with brushed surfaces. A smooth fixed bezel frames the dial, while a screw-down crown ensures 100-meter water resistance, making this an elegant yet durable everyday timepiece. Beneath the dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the delicate textured pink dial reflects the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms in the wind. Hand-applied, razor-sharp indexes and dauphine hands, finished to Grand Seiko’s exacting standards, shimmer with subtle brilliance as light plays across the surface. A power reserve indicator at 8 o’clock adds practical functionality, while the date window at 3 o’clock integrates seamlessly into the design. Sold as a full set with a Grand Seiko box, original warranty card, instruction manuals and hang tag. This watch was initially sold in the UK in October 2022.
